Mirror Shadows are yokai that mostly show up in haunted places, although they may appear anywhere in the Entertainment District. They take the shape of a strange, unclear shadow of a bipedal creature, and are only visible in mirrors. Sometimes, if there's some grifix in the front of the mirror they will take in traits that vaguely resemble them - such as hairstyles, accessories and such. But they don't linger too long around, they quickly flee if they are noticed.
Sometimes, strange prints like a paw with long claws appear on mirrors frequented by the shadows.
These appeared from stories about humans in the mirror - probably from tales of Princess Twilight Sparkle. But grifix don't know how a human looks like so the image can never be clear. The prints on the mirrors are handprints.
