Bio: Sable was always misunderstood ever since she was a filly. She absolutely loved magic, wanting to go to magic school and everything. She always watched her parents use their magic around the house and she always tried to repeat what they did, but she always failed and cried. Her parents never laughed, they always tried to help. Sable’s magic was different compared to any other unicorn, her magic aura was just continuously growing and that’s why she was so weak when she was young.
Sable attended magic school and surpassed everyone in her class over time, in the beginning she was always laughed at for being so weak, so she studied constantly and never rested till she perfected the spells. She always went to the library and grabbed stacks of books and read them more than once, but she always got mad when other unicorns took her books from her and teased her for reading and studying so much.
One day, Sable was in the library reading when a very powerful female unicorn came in and snatched the books from her. “Hey! Give that back!” Sable said before the unicorn actually burned the book, Sable gasping when it actually was her favorite magic book to read. “You read too much. How about you come duel with me instead and show us how pathetic you really are?” “No! We aren’t allowed!” “So what, you a little scared of a little duel?” The unicorn snickered before walking off, leaving Sable there with a pissed off look on her face. “I’ll show you who’s learned powerful magic..” she mumbled, going and heading to her dorm room to read more before seeing a hat hanging on her chair. Her room was always locked, who on earth got in and put a hat on her chair? She looked at the note written inside the hat, smiling before putting it on her head, now cherishing that hat for many moons.
She went out to duel the unicorn with the hat on and at first she lost, everyone laughing before Sable stood up and reared up with magic surrounding her horn and blasted the other unicorn back. “You think I’m weak.. you think I don’t learn.. well listen well, if you ever double cross me again, you will know what real magic is..” Sable growled before walking off and leaving everyone in awe, and as she walked off she didn’t know that the princess of the night and day were watching.
When she got back to her room and opened the door, Princess Luna was standing looking out the window. “Ah, Sable Moon I presume?” “P-Princess Luna?! Wh-What are you doing here..?!” Sable was nervous, standing there as Luna used magic to close the door behind Sable. “I watched your duel, a duel not allowed on school grounds.” Sable looked down and sighed, having a feeling she was going to be kicked out. “I’m getting expelled.. aren’t I Princess..?” “No, you will not.” Sable was confused, why wasn’t she after she dueled on school grounds?” “I want you to join my classes, Sable. Be a student of mine. I’ve watched you for a while now and seen how powerful you really are.” Sable was shocked, a student of the princess?! Sable was so excited she bowed, her tail sparkling and swaying happily.
From now on Sable learned from Princess Luna, and started to learn friendship as well, becoming friends with some other unicorns and other ponies. But she always stayed the way she was, powerfully and strong. Sweet and kind, and sometimes depressed.
